Mixed Media Pen/Ink Drawings

I have long loved the spontaneity of drawing with pen and ink on paper. They connect me directly to my unconscious. They often serve as a guide for my painting, although sometimes they are the end in themselves when I go further and use watercolor and/or gouache, ink and colored pencil. You help us remember that we are connected not only to our fellow human beings but to the earth itself. Thank you for that!

Thank you for responding to that point, Bazil. I believe that our connection with the Earth is so essential, many of us tend to forget! However the way the planet is these days, we can’t afford to forget any longer, IMHO.
