Saturday, June 20th, 2015 I had a booth in the Solstice Art Fair put on by the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, CA. Below is a picture of me getting ready for the art fair a few days ahead of time–with my cat Keiko on the prowl!

April 11th, 2015 I participated in the “Eye Tea” exhibit at the Citadel, 199 Martha St, San Jose, CA with my piece below entitled “Watching The Watchers.” The exhibit featured the work of more than 40 artists on the effects of social media on both the individual and the world. It was a magical night! Hopefully more of this kind of exhibit exploring the ramifications of our changed and challenged world will pop up elsewhere.

On March 23rd, 2013 I was part of a group show called “Seed” put on by the “Heart of Chaos.” The event was held at 199 Martha Street in San Jose, CA near Fifth
The concept of the show was to have each artist present a written paragraph on what “Seed” idea or event inspired them to become an artist. There was a photo of each artist too, along with one artwork by the artist.
The painting I submitted for the show (which you can see below) is called “Secrets.”
Lynn Rogers and I (Bea Garth) created and curated “Sparring With Beatnik Ghosts” poetry events at the Camden Community Center in San Jose–with help from Daniel Yaryan, the progenitor of the SWBG series. The first such event was on March 28, 2013 with the topic : “Exploring the Beat Spirit.”
The guest poet was Howard Pugh along with an anecdote by one of the original “On the Road” Beats, Al Hinkle. We had another Sparring With Beatnik Ghosts eventApril, 23rd,2014. Both events were at Camden Community Center, Union Ave., San Jose, CA.
